Life change

Life is something else. There are ups and downs, straight paths and those that curve. So many things has been going on in my life, when I really think about it I wonder how I got here. I believe we all have had that feeling before, one way or another. I have begun to understand that change will never happen until we change ourselves. I heard a saying in order to be something you've never been, you will have to do something you've never done". That is so true without that it's the same as insanity, doing the same thing over mad over again and expecting a different result. For some of us it takes longer than it should, because we feel untouchable. We feel like we are unstoppable that nothing can get in our way. When we get hit, when things start taking a nose dive,when the road stops and there is no where to turn, at that point can we call ourselves unstoppable? Where can our pride in our self centered thinking take us except into a state we call a "reality check". The bible says in Proverbs 16:18 that "Pride goes before destruction ,and a haughty spirit before a fall." As a people what we should learn is humility. Not too many people have it, and not too people want it. It takes a strong man or woman to bring themselves to be humble, that just shows the strength of the individual. It is not weakness but is the character of the wise. This will allow us to change, too much pride comes before destruction but with a humble spirit you can endure, you an strive through opposition and drive to the destination God has set before you John 10:10 "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."

Relationships

I think that people have this relationship thing all messed up...if you are really happy you don't need anyone to make you happy....but the truth is finding that one that can add to it and turn a fairy tale into reality is really what should be desire...unless you're really not happy...i think that that's the reason why many relationships Crumble...cuz one is truly happy and one expects that person to make them happy...so their expectations go up the roof...and what keeps them together which is love begins to die...expectations aren't met...not satisfied and its because of the "other person"...sometimes things have to do with us personally...no one can truly fulfill every single expectation through ur whole relationship cuz we all fail at things...but the sadness or burden you carry can really affect the way you see that man or woman you are with...it is hard to say "he is going to fulfill all of my dreams and wants and needs...alot of times that's not realistic...but what is is finding someone that not only adds to your happiness but makes you feel like your the only one in the world who deserves everything..and will do anything to continue to make you happy...even with the little things...but the expectations that are too high will put a strain on both parties..and that's when it begins to crumble...im not saying you can't have the things you dream of but if the person you are with is the one that truly makes you happy...then he has gotten the first part on point...now continued happiness is wen he is willing to grow...but as his partner...it is wise to stick by his side...cuz one day you'll look back and be like "wow..its been a journey but it's been worth it" instead of..."he doing all this and because I left someone else is reaping the benefits"..that's a messed up situation...know what you want and if what you want makes you happy stay with that person...its a woman's job to support the man and be by his side its a man's job to take care of his woman and kids if applicable...all men have flaws...but the woman has to see those flaws and really help him conquer them....i do not condone abuse mental or physical insults or cheating...but besides that...the sky is the limit...as long as you're both on the same page...be blessed

The longevity of the Youth

This is crazy. Once upon a time kids could go to school happy to tell their parents of what happened...once upon a time medal detectors had no reason of being in almost every high school..and once upon a time we could walk down the street without worrying about getting shot at the corner..Not that that never existed...but there were options...now it's mandatory...when I was in first grad all I worried about was if I colored mt picture wrong or if I understand addition properly...bur now..little children and up growing up 10 times their age because they are subject to shootings in schools on the street..even churches...the day they had no protection as they walked down the street is when collectively we stopped praying..we stop relying on God..when we stopped thanking him for every breath..without teaching the kids love and allowing the media to raise them....life is not over...my heart goes out to all those victims...even babies who don't even know how to talk yet could be shot and killed..not being able to see their Time in school..the youths life expectancy is getting smaller and smaller...We really have to look at this situation and get back to the root and hold these children up in praying loving them with all we have showing them that we care..as a community and in our homes..this is an effort that must be made....because if we don't the "Love" of the streets will...be blessed.

Are you REAL or FAKE?

Man..its truly crazy how you can go to a church service knowing that you plan to never change..hear the Word and never be convicted...thinking bout plans of next weekend if it would be better than the night before...smh. Truth is being that way is being lukewarm...but having one leg in the world and you foot in Christ is a sin on its own



...Revelation 3:16 'So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.



You either choose one or the other..you can't serve 2 masters..You either love one and hate the other


Mather8:24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.


when you know the word you are accountable for what you know...so we know better..so as learned and taught for what we know in the Word..we should do better and be an example to those around us...that's the only way the world will know about the love of Christ

Heartache and Hope

Trust me I know how hard it is to give something up that you wanted so bad. In my lesson there is nothing more important than your happiness. It is painful, but it is ironic how a sense of relief comes from it. Not everything that starts out good will end good...but the truth behind the madness is that if it was meant to last it would have, believe in yourself, Have faith in God. If u decided what used to be on your own; let God decide the next. It might not be when you want it but be aware cause that time could come when you least expect it to. Be blessed

Being Content and True Joy

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give
 His life a ransom for many.”

If we are to follow in Jesus' foot steps we must not focus on what we
should receive but to rather give and serve. We are to be examples of the
way Christ lived; We live to serve only desiring to be served is not of God.
 And can be considered a sin if turned to greed.

God has given us talents to use for his glory. It is what will prosper us and
 it will also be what will make us better as people of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Using those talents its up to us. It is our decision to use them, if we do the
Lord is pleased if we don't he is not pleased.

This is the Word of the one who uses his talents

Mathew 25:23

“His Lord said to him, Well done good and faithful servant you have been 
faithful over a few things. I will make you ruler over many things.”

People are never satisfied with the few things they have. The can never
 see the big picture. The little we have is more than a fortune. It doesn't
matter how little we have. Being faithful with just a little will make us rulers over many.
In this God takes delight in our happiness. Even with the little we have it
pleases Him to know that his children are happy even in the situations they
 face. Their joy is not in what they receive but in their hearts.

He Blesses those who are thankful for what they do have. Blesses them more
 and supplies them what they don't have. Someone with a needy heart does not
 not have the joy of the Lord in him.

Colossians 1:10-12

“That you may walk worthy of the Lord fully pleasing Him being fruitful
in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God: strengthened
with all might according to his glorious power for all patience and long suffering with Joy.”

God wants us to be happy. He knows of what we need before we ask. But my
 question is, if we are not satisfied with the few we do have now, How satisfied
will we get when we receive the things we want. Will it really fulfill us? Is it really
what will make us happy? Or will it be one among the many things we will need
after that to fulfill what we think is missing? There would never be an end until
we can understand that with the few we do have we can still have joy for a life time.



Mathew 4:4

“It is written. Man should not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds
from the mouth of God”

Without being content we lose focus of what really matters. There are third world
 countries with people who have much less than us but still have joy. Their happiness
 does not come from what they receive even though it will be appreciated or have
 in their possession but comes from their hearts.

It may seem as though they should be feeling miserable about their situation, but
no they are happy with just what they have. If we can not handle what we do have
and be content; how can we handle all that we do not have when we receive it?

Mathew 6:25-34

States that we should not think of those things but focus on the Lord and seek
his righteousness first.

Verse 33

“But seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness first and all these things
shall be added unto you.”

We don't live for ourselves but we live to the glory of the Lord and to be of service
 to others. That is the true nature of our faith. When there is no one there to lend
a hand we as followers of Christ need to be the ones to show who the love
of Christ to those in need.

People now would rather give thousands of dollars expecting a return on a seed
sown in greed but receives nothing. The scriptures say, “it is better to give
than to receive”. It also says “God loves a cheerful giver”. A giver who gives out
of his heart.

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in life up in life we forget what we are
meant to do. Until we get back to that place of remembrance our sowing
seeds of self gain, prayers if self satisfaction will all come to naught.

Jesus came to serve so we will serve. We didn't come to this world to be rich
but to save souls for the Kingdom and to show the joy of Christ in us. We are
not here to be our last goal but we are here to live again.

I saw the Joy of the Lord with my own eyes at a young age. I saw a homeless
lady a long time ago by my building worshipping. I still remember and
 respect her to this day. She had nowhere to go. No pillow to lay her head only
 what seemed to be a sheet with a couple of bags. She was worshipping God
and thanked him on the side walk. No where to go to nowhere for private
worship, but still having the ability to still thank God for all He has done for her.
I was shocked to see that someone can actually do that in that situation, but
 that is when I was given an

introduction to what true joy really is. The Joy of the Lord is true contentment
and joy beyond understanding.

Mathew 6:21

“For where your treasure is there your heart will be also.”

Our hearts must be in the wrong place if we are not in the joy of the Lord.
Our hearts have to be changed to purity and sincerity to understand why
we can never be satisfied. We always will feel without if our hearts are not
changed. Money will never be the reason God will give more money.

It is giving with a pure heart that God will bless you. Not for selfish ambitions
but for the purpose of helping those in need. Not to be blessed without the
thought of others.
People are giving to be rich, to live lavish lives without a second thought
of a poor man or woman on the street. Whether homeless or in need of food.

God says your wicked
As long as you live you will give in vain!!

Isaiah 57:21

“There is no peace Says my God for the wicked”

Isaiah 59 speaks of such people who have separated from God by their ungodly
 lifestyles.

Verse 8 says
“The way of peace they have not known and there is no justice in their ways.
They made themselves crooked paths, whoever takes that way shall not know peace.”

In our lives true Joy comes when we become content and rest in the joy of the Lord.

HOROSCOPES

"Isaiah 47: 13-14 "Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the ASTROLOGERS, the STARGAZERS, the MONTHLY PROGNOSTICIATERS(horoscopes), stand up, and save thee from [these things] that shall come upon thee. 14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: [there shall] not [be] a coal to warm at, [nor] fire to sit before it."

For a born again believer to follow horoscopes is unheard of...leave it behind and continue in the faith with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ..Who has the power to preserve your soul in the day of Judgment...The horoscope can not save you..it can not deliver u...does not fulfill you and does not promise you a future a promise a hope in God..It is in its own sense a false god practice that the Most High detests strongly..Please understand and believe..God bless
